JOSEPHINE JOYCE OLDHAM Peacefully at her residence on July 6, 2000, Joy passed away at the age of 74 years. Mom will be lovingly remembered by her three children, Joy Sprott of Kenora and her children, Jenny and her son Jacob Iverson, and Sara of Calgary, Judy (Bob) Scheer and their children, Marnie Heinrichs and her daughter Darien, Tammy Scheer of Victoria, B.C. and her sons, Brodie and Dylan; son David (Dorothy) Stabell, and her three loyal companions, Kayla, Clancy and Casper. Cremation has taken place and a funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m., Tuesday, July 11 at Bardal Funeral Home, 843 Sherbrook Street. Should friends so desire, donations may be made to the Humane Society of Winnipeg. IM FREE Dont grieve for me, for now Im free, Im following the path God has laid you see. I took His hand when I heard His call, I turned my back and left it all. I could not stay another day, To laugh, to love, to work or play. Tasks left undone must stay that way, I found the peace at the close of day. If my parting has left a void, Then fill it with remembered joys. A friendship shared, a laugh, a kiss, O yes, these things I too will miss. Be not burdened with times of sorrow, I wish you the sunshine of tomorrow. My lifes been full, I savoured much, Good friends, good times, a loved ones touch. Perhaps my time seemed all too brief, Dont lengthen it now with undue grief.
